Biography of Osama bin Laden
Born Osama bin Laden in Riyadh in March 1957 and is the founder and leader of the "Al Qaeda" Salafi Jihadist armed, which was established in Afghanistan in 1988. Wealth ofOsama bin Laden and his relations enabled him to support the Afghan mujahideenagainst the Soviet invasion of their country in 1979.
But Osama bin Laden attacked the U.S. presence in Saudi Arabia during the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in 1990. Voghebr then out to the Sudan and then Afghanistan, where he rubbed his relations with the "Taliban" movement, which had controlled the countryand where, in Afghanistan, declared open war on the United States of America.
In 1998 the combined efforts of Osama bin Laden with Ayman Zawahiri, and launched a fatwa permitting calls to kill Americans.
Washington accused him of direct involvement in the Khobar bombings in Saudi Arabia,Nairobi and Dar es Salaam, the atheist attacks of September 2001, and is on the top ofthe list of the world's most wanted, dead or alive.
